This is a 12-month non-ongoing contract or section 26 transfer opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives on meaningful work and wants to make a difference.
The Role
Key responsibilities in your role include:
- Building good working partnerships with business areas by providing trusted advice
- Month end accounting processes, including preparing journals and reconciliations
- Drafting monthly reports to key stakeholders that will influence decision making
- Assisting with the coordination of divisional input to external reporting requirements
- Providing advice to key senior stakeholders based on research/analysis of financial results
You will be a high performing CA/CPA qualified Management Accountant with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate the ‘grey’ areas. You will be working closely with the Assistant Director to ensure the business areas are provided with meaningful insight and analysis to facilitate decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are equally important as being able to work within the team will be critical to your success in this role.
Whilst experience in internal budgeting or finance business partnering in government will be highly desirable, those who have management accounting experience will also be considered. Big 4 accounting backgrounds will be highly regarded.

Salary / Rate
- $95k - $105k + Super
