About the Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in month-end and year-end reporting. This role offers hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
- Prepare and process bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
- Support preparation of financial reports and statements
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
- Perform general administrative and finance-related tasks as required
- Bachelor's degree (or near completion) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (MYOB/Xero experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
