The Opportunity
This is your opportunity to join the Internal Audit and Financial Advisory team in the fast-growing Canberra office of a global firm that’s worked with over 80% of Fortune 100 companies. You’ll work closely with senior executives and audit committees at some of Australia’s most recognised organisations, while also guiding and supporting Consultants as they deliver governance, risk, and assurance projects.

The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will take on both client-facing and supervisory responsibilities, helping to deliver high-quality internal audit and advisory services across a variety of industries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting planning, fieldwork, testing, review, and reporting phases of complex client engagements
- Delivering valued internal audit services that address client needs and risks
- Supervising and guiding Consultants on governance, risk, and assurance project work plans
- Coaching junior team members and helping build their technical and professional capabilities
You have a strong interest in internal audit, with experience in consulting firms or a Federal Government department.
You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You are confident working directly with clients, managing competing priorities, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Your ability to think critically, solve problems, and deliver high-quality work makes you a valuable asset to any team.
You are likely to come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Experience in a Big 4 or other consulting firm as an Associate or Senior Associate level in risk, internal audit or financial audit.
- APS6-level experience in internal audit or risk, with stable tenure and a track record of success
- $85k - $105k + Super + Bonus
- Permanent full-time position
- Centrally located Office
