We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join a well-established residential aged care provider located south of the river. About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational support to the care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will work closely with the Facility Manager to promote a positive culture, support staff development, and maintain strong clinical governance across the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the clinical team to deliver outstanding resident care.
- Oversee clinical governance, quality, and compliance activities.
- Support accreditation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage clinical documentation, assessments, and care planning.
- Provide coaching and development for Registered Nurses and care staff.
- Monitor clinical indicators and implement quality improvement strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or senior clinical leader within residential aged care.
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for delivering exceptional resident outcomes.
