The Opportunity
We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the P-8A Poseidon Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems. You will: * Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion, * Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations. * Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams * Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices. * Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel. What you will bring to BDA
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have: * Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures) * Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements * Hold a current driver's licence. Desirable * Previous experience working with Military aircraft. * Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence This role may require travel and periods working away from home.
