Job from partnerWe are seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder / Process Pipe Fabricator for an upcoming food manufacturing project based in Auckland.
This role is suited to someone who has strong hands-on experience with stainless hygienic tube and process pipework and can work to a high standard in food-grade / dairy / process environments.
The Role
You will be working on stainless process piping and fabrication works, including:
- Stainless hygienic tube and pipe welding
- Dairy / food-grade process pipe fabrication
- Purge TIG welding
- Stainless fit-up, finishing and installation
- Jacketed pipework and process systems where required
- Working to food industry quality, safety and compliance standards
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in stainless hygienic pipework
- Strong TIG / purge welding experience
- ASME 9 qualification preferred
- Experience working on dairy, food manufacturing or process sites
- Strong stainless fit-up and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and produce high-quality welds
- EWP and Working at Heights tickets preferred
- Forklift licence advantageous
This is not a general maintenance/fabrication role. We need someone whose background is genuinely in stainless process pipe fabrication and hygienic welding — someone who can step onto site and get stuck straight into this type of work with minimal supervision.
