In alignment with the Myer Group strategy, this role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring procedural compliance, and supporting end-to-end supply chain alignment across the business. You will play a critical role in analysing complex data sets, uncovering cost and efficiency opportunities, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders across Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Merchandise.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven analyst with a passion for logistics, freight optimisation, and commercial decision-making.

About the role:

  • Mitigate risk exposure through detailed validation of transport rate cards and analysis of B2C vendor invoices.
  • Conduct transport fee and surcharge reviews, identifying discrepancies and driving cost recovery opportunities.
  • Analyse SKU weight registration accuracy and provide reporting and recommendations to the Merchandise team to reduce misdeclaration costs.
  • Perform split shipment analysis, delivering insights and recommendations to eCommerce and Merchandise teams to improve fulfilment efficiency.
  • Drive freight optimisation through shipping lane analysis, identifying cost reduction and service efficiency opportunities.
  • Conduct SKU range reviews based on online sales performance, providing data-driven recommendations to Merchandise.
  • Support vendor rate negotiations by delivering RFP rate card comparisons, analysis, and commercial recommendations.
  • Assist with strategic direction for DSV and marketplace (non-BYOC) vendor onboarding through critical analysis and rate card evaluation.
  • Provide ad hoc data analysis and insights as requested by the business.

About you:

  • Advanced data analytics and visualisation capability (Excel, Power BI, dashboarding).
  • Proficiency in programming and database management (Python, SQL).
  • Strong ability to cleanse, merge, and manage multiple data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting data and presenting clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar analytical role.
  • Previous experience within a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Commerce environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
