Cleared Recruitment are looking for a Project Support Officer to provide professional support services across a complex program of work. Operating under general direction, you will play a key role in enabling effective project delivery by applying established project management frameworks, governance processes, and controls.
You will be responsible for coordinating governance activities, maintaining project artefacts, supporting reporting and assurance functions, and engaging proactively with stakeholders. This role requires sound judgement, strong organisational capability, and the ability to influence outcomes through clear communication and collaboration.
This position is suited to a capable project support professional who can work with a degree of autonomy while contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day project support across all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, delivery, and closure.
- Develop, maintain, and quality assure key project artefacts, including project plans and schedules, risk, issue and dependency registers, financial tracking, and status and governance reporting packs.
- Coordinate governance and assurance activities by supporting boards and working groups, including preparation of agendas, papers, minutes, and action registers, and tracking actions through to completion.
- Monitor and report on project performance, milestones, risks, and issues, supporting change control, configuration management, and compliance with organisational, contractual, and security requirements.
- Coordinate project resources, onboarding, and access requirements, and act as a central point of contact for project information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the program.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a Project Support Officer, Project Coordinator, or similar role supporting ICT and/or business projects.
- Proven ability to manage project controls, registers, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of project management principles, frameworks, and governance, with the ability to apply these effectively in a delivery environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under minimal supervision.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at varying levels and producing high-quality reporting and governance documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Eligibility Requirements
- A current TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) security clearance is mandatory.
