WHAT IS SO AMAZING ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
With Dematic delivering a state-of-the-art warehouse and logistics automation projects, we are looking for a proactive procurement professional to help drive value, efficiency, and strong partnerships across our ANZA sites.
As the Indirect Procurement Tactical Buyer, based in Belrose, you will act as a catalyst for effective procurement operations, coordinating the full lifecycle for indirect materials and services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, lead sourcing initiatives and negotiations, and ensure reliable supply at competitive cost.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership, influence outcomes, and deliver measurable impact within a global manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Own the indirect procurement budget and supplier relationships allocated for ANZA
Process purchase requests and convert them into purchase orders using Syteline
Lead solicitation processes, assess supplier bids, develop comparisons, and present sourcing recommendations
Negotiate contracts and handle supplier agreements to support cost, quality, and service goals
Develop and implement local category and sub‑category strategies coordinating closely with regional and category departments
Identify and deliver opportunities for reducing expenses and avoiding costs through spend analysis and supplier negotiations
Maintain contract transparency by reviewing terms, conditions, and validity on a regular basis
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working
Tasks and Qualifications:
SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
3 – 5 years practical procurement experience
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in indirect procurement or category procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Proven success in supplier negotiations and contract management at local and international levels
Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
An analytical, organized approach with the ability to manage priorities effectively
Solid understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to apply AI tools to increase productivity within this role
