The Opportunity

An exciting permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer. Join a highly skilled and energetic team and play a key role in assisting us in successfully delivering current and future projects.

Construction Engineering is a broad field, and our suite of offered services is testament to our depth of knowledge and expertise. We offer design and consulting services in construction methodology and erection sequencing, temporary works, plant and equipment and virtual design and construction. In addition, we explore opportunities to optimise permanent works design with a view to efficient and safe build methodology and, through staged construction analysis, ensure compatibility between design intent and build reality. The Construction Engineering team has structural engineering focus, working closely with permanent works designers and contractors to deliver efficient, build-able solutions to our clients.

The successful applicant will have:

· 3+ years' structural design experience

· The motivation to work on the design of temporary works and to develop construction methodology with contractors

· The ability to work independently and to be client-facing

· Sound engineering design and ideally, site experience

· Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

· Relevant academic qualifications and Chartered status

· Australian experience, including a sound understanding of AU Standards
