About the opportunity:

The Sales Estimator is part of the Wilson Homes Estimating team and reports to the Sales Estimating Manager. The key focus of this role is to accurately determine and calculate estimates of new quote requests for single storey, split level, double storey, and multi-residential designs More specifically, you will:
•Complete accurate retail pricing on Quotations, Variations & Consolidated Tenders for customer projects
•Collaborate with the sales team to generate quotes, by applying design construction and customer considerations to ensure the best outcome
•Generation of site costs including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculations
•Completion of sales tenders on registered and unregistered land utilising site inspection photos, reports, satellite photos, and street view by near map
•Reading and interpreting construction plans
•Creation of pre-contract variation pricing and preparation of scope of works in a timely manner
•Appraisal of external reports to assist you in costing each project
•Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders

About you:

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
•Experience with residential estimating or related field
•A formal qualification in building or a trade certificate desirable
•Sound knowledge of Australian Construction Standards and relevant Australian Standards
•Sound understanding of local council and developer requirements
•Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
•Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems
•Strong interpersonal skills, collaborating with the wider team
•Continuous improvement mindset, holding a positive “can do attitude”
•Experience in BusinessCraft - Highly desired
