Job Civil Labourer, Canberra

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Civil Construction Labourers to join our team on subdivision projects. This is a hands-on role performing a variety of physical tasks across different stages of civil works. You'll be part of a team delivering quality infrastructure in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Preliminary Works: Assisting with site setup, signage, and preparation
  
• Pavement Construction: Laying and finishing pavements to engineering standards
  
• Conduits & Subsoils: Installing conduit and subsoil drainage systems
  
• Pit Rendering: Applying render to electrical and stormwater pits
  
• Fencing: Installing and maintaining temporary or permanent fencing
  
• Drainage: Supporting the installation of underground drainage infrastructure
  
• Finishing Works: Assisting with final site clean-up and detail finishing
  
• General Labouring: Supporting all aspects of on-site construction as needed
  

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  
• Silica Awareness Certification
  
• Asbestos Awareness Certification
  
• Proven experience in civil labouring, ideally on subdivision projects
  
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team
  
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  
• Reliable transport to and from job sites
  

• Ongoing work on local subdivision developments
  
• Above award wages and potential for overtime
