Our client runs a busy, well-known hairdressing salon in Canberra and is looking for someone friendly and capable to help with day-to-day admin, travel bookings, and general organisation.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and likes to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is not a hybrid role, you will be required to be present.

- Collecting and entering staff timesheets for the bookkeeper to process in Xero
- Processing payments and handling ad-hoc accounts payable (both business and personal)
- Using Kitomba to run reports like staff leave, turnover projections, and monthly comparisons
- Keeping staff files up to date and sending documents through DocuSign
- Uploading invoices into Dext or Hubdoc
- Coordinating the owner's diary, medical appointments, and travel bookings
- Helping streamline the salon's admin systems where possible
- Assisting with stock takes and other day-to-day tasks as needed
About You
You are positive, trustworthy, and have great attention to detail.
You're comfortable juggling a few things at once and happy to help out wherever needed.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Suite
- Confidence using or learning platforms like Xero, Kitomba, or Dext
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, down-to-earth approach
- A proactive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Why You'll Love Working Here
This is a genuine, supportive workplace where you'll be appreciated for the work you do.
You'll be part of a creative, close-knit team that values honesty, reliability, and a good sense of humour.
If you enjoy variety in your day, love helping others, and take pride in staying organised, we would love to meet you.
