One of Canberra's leading commercial services firms requires a Senior Mechanical Engineer with the potential to grow and reach new heights.


The role:

Ideally the candidate will be a proficient Mechanical Engineer that possesses the experience and skillset that's required to lead the team. You will lead high performing mechanical engineers, by way of sharing your working knowledge and experience.

You will mentor a team of 5 members and possess HVAC design capability, HVAC Value engineering and experience in construction engineering. A strong desire to service clients, as well as expert industry knowledge will both be strong attributes of the successful individual.

Your core duties & responsibilities will include:

• Proven ability to be a strong leader and mentor to a small team
• Possess HVAC design capability
• Possess HVAC Value Engineering (VE) experience
• Willingness to share your wealth of Construction Engineering experience with your team members

What you will need to succeed:

• You have a thirst for industry knowledge and a passion to drive the team to succeed through your can-do and client focussed attitude.
• High level of experience in leading a team of mechanical engineers
• You have proven written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
• Disciplined with remarkable organisational skills to meet targets and purpose.
• Effective and efficient use of time to ensure a timelines and targets are achieved by the team
• Charted Professional Engineer (CPEng)
• Member ACT Registration for Professional Engineers (or willingness to obtain
• Entrepreneurial mindset
