The role

• The team in Canberra is not too big or too small, so this is a rare opportunity to work across a variety of projects as opposed to getting pigeonholed into working on the same type of project day in day out.
• They have great clients who's projects are as diverse as they are challenging.
• Due to growth they are seeking a junior to intermediate level Structural Engineer to work alongside highly respected senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs for medium and high-rise buildings
• Undertaking components of design such as steel, precast concrete, post tensioned concrete, masonry and timber
• Plan design packaging and design interfaces
• Produce designs and design documentation
• Manage the verification of the design in accordance with the quality system
• Work alongside highly experiences senior engineers

The requirements

• Experienced (3+ years) working in a local consultancy
• Experience using Software packages Inducta, Spacegass and Rapt
• Experience in structural design components
