Evolve FM is a 100% Indigenous-owned full service integrated facilities management and property services business. Through leveraging the Indigenous supply chain, we drive better outcomes for Indigenous businesses across Australia, helping to create financial independence for Indigenous men and women.
Evolve FM was formed in April 2015, the product of the vision of Wiradjuri and Torres Strait Islander man Troy Rugless. Troy founded construction and services company Pacific Services Group Holdings in 2011 as a way of providing employment opportunities for First Nations people. In 2014, he realised that an Indigenous-owned Facilities Management (FM) company would provide greater opportunities not only to hire First Nations people, but also to act as a conduit to engage other First Nations businesses. Noting the IT and other requirements required of an FM company, he worked with global property leader JLL to form Evolve FM – a jointly owned company with PSGH as majority shareholder (51%) and JLL as the 49% owner.
Nine years on, Evolve FM is now a mature, experienced deliverer of property services. With over 80 staff – mainly in Sydney and Canberra – we manage over 700 properties across Australia for our clients. In July 2024, Troy acquired the shares of JLL, making Evolve FM a 100% Indigenous-owned company.
